Cottage facilities
Internet: Cottage guests have an access pass to use BT wifi internet in the Cottage and out & about in Cambridge (coverage from BT wifi hotspots).
Television: The cottage has freeview television service. The service is not enabled for pay channels.
DVD: There is a dvd player and a small selection of dvds.
Music: The stereo has an ipod/iphone connector and a usb port. There is a small selection of cds.
Fireplace: The fireplace is swept and safe to use. From late autumn to early spring firewood and kindling can be purchased from Radmore Farm Shop on Chesterton Road.
Tea and coffee: We try to ensure there is a wide selection of teas (including herbal teas) waiting for our guests when they arrive. There is also a coffee machine for espresso & capuccino. If you'd like us to put a pint of milk in the fridge for when you arrive just let us know.
Herbs and spices: There is a selection of spices & dried herbs in the kitchen for our guests to use while cooking at the cottage.
Laundry: Should you need to do laundry during your holiday, there is a washing machine ('method' washing liquid provided). There is no tumble dryer. However there is a clothes line in the back garden and a clothes airer for damper days. Iron & board are also at the house.
Bedding & Towels: Bedding, linen & towels are of course provided. The duvets & pillows are hollowfibre. Our double bedroom can be made up with a feather duvet and top pillows if you let us know in advance of your arrival.
Hairdryer: A hairdryer is provided.
Heating and hot water: Hot water is permanently on at the cottage. The controls for the central heating are easily accesible when you need them.
Other utilities: The cottage is fitted with a dishwasher, and dishwasher tablets are provided.
Local amenities include a farm shop, bakery, butcher, banks, local supermarket etc. Full details including opening hours are in the 'Guest Information" folder at the cottage. Please contact us is there is anything you would like to know in advance of your stay.
